Supervision – Prevention of Teacher Burnout

Project TAČR TL01000399 – Supervision – Prevention of Teacher Burnout (04/2018 – 03/2021)

The aim of planned project is to develop a handbook for teacher supervision on grammar schools.  The handbook will respect the general principles of supervision across different areas and on top of that will take into account the specific features of educational system and individuals working in that.

The supervision is usually focused on three types of professional experience:

  1. efficiency  of behavioural and cognitive approaches toward working stress,
  2. short- and long-term emotional states in profession,
  3. doubts about professionality. The handbook will cover the analysis of experience mentioned above referring to teaching and recommendation for approach, procedures and techniques of teacher supervision.
