Ph.D.Exploitation and Conservation of Natural Resources
The main focus of the study programme is how to prevent pollution of natural resources, especially soil, water and air, and how to use them sustainably. It includes analysis of the content and cycle of elements and substances in the environment, processing and utilization of wastes, assessment and mapping of the state of natural resources, exploitation of remote sensing, mathematical modelling and simulation of natural processes and the impacts of human activity, etc.
Graduate profile
Graduates gain expertise in the management of natural resources, soil science, hydrology and hydropedology, environmental chemistry, meteorology, microbiology, and remediation of the environment. The studies focus on soil and water assessment, conservation and protection, air protection, exploitation of wastes, and remediation. The graduates‘ skills include natural resources assessment, advanced chemical analyses, geographical information systems, mathematical modelling, statistical analyses, etc.
