Ph.D. Animal Science
The aim of the study programme is to educate the applicant in the broad field of animal science, which includes subjects of animal physiology, nutrition, reproduction, microbiology, parasitology, welfare, or zoology. The study programme focuses not only on livestock, but also on other domesticated and non-domesticated animals. The graduate student will be introduced to both theoretical and practical aspects of research in the related fields of interest.
Graduate profile
The graduates will be able to carry out research in the field of animal science. They will gain deep knowledge in the field of their research, which will allow them to consequently work in the scientific research institutions, academia, state institutions, ministries focused on animal health, production, or welfare, as well as in other areas of zoology, microbiology, animal reproduction, other areas of a broad field of animal science. They will be able to perform their own, independent research.
