Graduate profile
A graduate of the Transnational History program is an expert in analyzing historical processes and phenomena with an emphasis on transnational contexts from the 19th century to the present. Understands the historical roots of the problems and challenges of the contemporary world. Possesses critical thinking skills and is proficient in historical research, textual interpretation, source analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches. He or she will find employment in cultural institutions, the media, education, diplomatic services, non-governmental organizations, international institutions, and multinational corporations. They will also apply their knowledge of historical contexts and their ability to analyze global issues in public administration, project management, or consulting. They may also pursue further study at the doctoral level.
