Ph.D.Geoinformatics, Cartography and Remote Sensing

Graduate profile

The graduates have deep theoretical and practical knowledge of geoinformatics, cartography and remote sensing. They are also specialists in one of these scientific disciplines. They can formulate a scientific problem, propose an optimal method of its solution, choose appropriate methodological procedures, correctly evaluate and interpret the results. They are able to practically utilize modern geoinformation methods, tools and techniques and can apply the acquired knowledge and skills independently in solving complex scientific problems. The graduates can be employed in scientific and academic institutions, in state institutions and organizations and in industry in Czechia and abroad on positions where both basic and applied research and development in natural, social and technical sciences is required.
