Ph.D.Logistics and Management of Transport Processes
The student is prepared to address complex analytical, decision-making, and implementation processes regarding the impact of transport on logistical systems, both at the current level of knowledge and with respect to development prospects in the near and distant future.
The orientation of the study program aims to deepen the student's theoretical knowledge for specific scientific work in solving research and development tasks under the guidance of a supervisor. The study program focuses on scientific research and independent creative activity of doctoral student
Graduate profile
The graduate will be a specialist in the research and development of new approaches to modeling logistical problems within the management operations of companies and enterprises where supply, transport, and marketing constitute core activities. The curriculum includes simulation methods regardless of transport distances?ranging from the smallest to the largest?and transport times, from the shortest to the longest. Graduates will be prepared for the rigorous application of multicriteria optimization methods utilizing artificial intelligence techniques, the research and development of which will form a significant component of this study.
Graduates will find employment in creatively solving the position and functions of transport within logistical systems at research institutions and universities. They will also find opportunities as highly qualified consultants in the design and implementation of transport, shipping, and logistical systems for consulting and engineering firms.
