Ph.D.Electrical Engineering and Communications
The mission of the doctoral study program Electrical Engineering and Communications is to educate a new generation of top academic and industrial researchers who will successfully apply themselves in top academic research (university, state, public), industrial research, and possibly in industrial development. The main goal is to educate, develop and train prominent personalities who will become successful founders, owners, and managers of innovative technology companies. Moreover, students will be introduced to the methods of scientific work and will be provided with professional knowledge at the frontier of human knowledge and experience in solving research projects and team management. They will be able to use these skills for independent research work and transferring research results into practice. This knowledge and skills will be based on deep theoretical knowledge combined with the knowledge of current trends in the field.
Graduate profile
Graduates will have the ability to search, analyze, present, and publish information, knowledge, and results of their research as well as to develop critical and creative thinking to the public. Graduates will be prepared to work with new technologies in the following areas: electronics measuring techniques, electrical power engineering, telecommunication engineering, and radioelectronics.
Graduates can apply the acquired skills not only in the academic and scientific spheres, but often, very successfully, in leading research, development, or production in large industrial multinational companies. Graduates are flexible and able to work in management positions in international companies. They are able to establish new technology companies and easily participate in solving international and global scientific and technical challenges.
