Ph.D.Informatics
The Doctoral Study Program Informatics aims at developing the creative skills of doctoral students in the whole spectrum of both pure and engineering informatics. DSP Informatics deepens the theoretical knowledge of advanced theories and models, formal tools for describing and analyzing complex ICT systems and algorithms for solving IT problems at a level consistent with the current state of knowledge worldwide. The courses are set both as lectures and seminars; their content is adapted to fit the student?s dissertation topic and it is principally research-oriented, so that the knowledge gained in the courses creates the basis for the student?s work on their dissertations.
Graduate profile
The graduate of the Doctoral Study Program Informatics has mastered the methodology of scientific work and demonstrated the ability of independent critical thinking and independent scientific work, the result of which are scientific contributions to the research topic of his / her dissertation; contributions that are defendable and accepted by the scientific community (i.e., publishable in peer-to-peer reviewed media).
