Msc.Biomedical and Clinical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering field of study is markedly interdisciplinary and students acquire a survey in the area of biomedical and clinical engineering. Specifically, it will be the knowledge and skills in such areas as theory and methods of signal and image processing, therapeutic and diagnostic medical devices, legal, economic and managerial topics in health care and application of mathematical and scientific disciplines in biomedical engineering. This knowledge and skills will enable the further development and deepening of the professional profile of the graduate in accordance with current developments and trends within the biomedical and clinical engineering.
Graduate profile
The graduates of the Biomedical Engineering field of study will obtain the overview of biomedical and clinical technology in compliance with the current development of this area. In medical establishments, they will be able to operate, check and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic devices and their software, including assistance to the doctors during the examination of the patients. They will be able to arrange activities connected with keeping the records and operation of medical devices. Due to their ability to participate in development and research activities especially of the experimental nature, they will be able to find a job with institutions dealing with development, production, sale and servicing of medical devices or programming of diagnostic and therapeutic devices and methods designed for the healthcare industry.
