Bc.Professional Pilot

The Professional Pilot program is a 3-year full-time bachelor program. The program focuses on raising professional commercial pilots within the integrated ATPL(A) training. The theoretical training is provided by the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, holding a CZ/ATO-010 license, and partner flight training schools provide the practical training. Our students choose the school they want to do their flight training with during the first semester. Our teachers are skilled pilots and other aviation specialists from different areas, including maintenance, government, commercial, etc. As this program is under the Czech Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) supervision, there are certain specifics regarding the study, such as mandatory attendance or an acceptable minimum of points in testing. The study fee is 55 000 CZK per semester and it does not cover the practical training, which is approx. 1 650 000 CZK.

Graduates of the Professional Pilot program have finished their theoretical and practical training. To obtain the ATPL(A) license and control a commercial aircraft, the graduates have to do final exams from aviation subjects and a practical exam at the Czech Civil Aviation Authority. After successfully passing the exams at CAA, airlines prefer to hire applicants with integrated ATPL(A) training over modular training and those with a university degree (not to mention that a university degree is a prerequisite for further career advancements). When graduates finish their type rating for specific aircraft, they can take off not only with a commercial aircraft but their careers as well. Our graduates fly with Qatar, Czech Airlines, Smartwings, Ryanair, Wizzair, and many more.
