Soft Matter Theory
Research at Charles UniversityScientific area:
We are interested in behavior of Soft Matter that we study using theoretical methods, mostly computer simulations.
Such simulations may require to span many orders of magnitude, from the motion of atoms (10fs) to the relaxation of polymer networks (1s). This problem is known as the time-scale gap. We are interested in development of suitable computational methods and their applications to various materials.
