Ph.D.Economics and Management of an Enterprise

The main aim of the program is to acquire and prove the ability of independent scientific work in the field of study by completing and defending a dissertation, scientific publications, and other forms of presentation of one’s own scientific research activities, including passing all compulsory examinations as well as a state doctoral examination Graduates will be able to carry out intensive analyses associated with the solution of complicated environmental and financial issues in forest management, but also in selected areas of environmental protection.

Graduates of this postgraduate (PhD) branch of study are specialised in the area of extensive issues of assessment of cost-effectiveness and efficiency of forest management in relation to the landscape and society, the sectoral organisation and structure, pricing, positive and negative management tools in the industry, forestry and environmental policy issues, issues of valuation of market and non-market functions of forests and natural resources in general and the selected economic aspects of the protection of landscape and the environment.
