Ph.D.Applied Animal Science
The Special Animal Science programme includes studying the problems of farm animal performance, breeding, reproduction, and techniques and technology of rearing. The study programme provides deep theoretical and practical knowledge as well as laboratory skills. A part of the study includes developing skills in the formulation of scientific hypothesis and conclusions for their publication in domestic and international scientific journals with impact factor. The study includes different topics in poultry, fur animals and rabbit, sheep and goats, pigs, cattle, feeding and nutrition, products quality, reproduction, technology of products processing and storage.
Graduate profile
The program trains PhD students as qualified researches in the areas of animal reproduction, breeding, nutrition, product quality, production systems including alternative systems and organic production in cattle, pig, poultry, small ruminant, rabbit, horse and fur animal production.
