A graduate from the doctoral studies has acquired a deep theoretical knowledge in his or her respective branch of national law as well as in the European context, based upon international comparison and a wider background of social sciences. The graduate is capable of analysing general and specific issues in the respective branch of law, as well as synthesising the knowledge and information obtained. The doctoral degree in law may be applied particularly in the academic and scholarly environment.
