Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master programme of General Medicine obtain professional qualification to practice medicine under Section 4 of Act # 95/2004 Coll., and under expert supervision of a doctor with special qualification provide prophylactic, diagnostic, therapeutic, remedial rehabilitation, dispensary and palliative care. The main aim in the curriculum followed is the adequate wide theoretical background to allow understanding of the causes and course of diseases, scope of prevention; mastering the principles and interpretation of modern diagnostic methods and efficient rational treatment. The graduates gain basic practical skills at clinical facilities, which enables them to pursue their careers in general practice or any other specialty. In their training, much attention is paid to moral, ethical and legal aspects of medical practice.
