4-year programme focused on radiochemistry, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, radiobiology, microdosimetry, use of the Monte Carlo method in medical applications and radiation protection
PhD study significantly deepens the education gained during Master study in advanced and specialized disciplines. The common part of the graduate's profile entails working knowledge of some broad area of modern mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. advanced functional analysis, nonlinear partial differential equations, quantum optics, solid state physics, nuclear chemistry) as well as some particular field of its application (e.g. lasers, particle physics, material science, modern methods of computer science, environmental protection). This common background is further specialized in collaboration with thesis advisors towards the individual needs of the students based on the thematic areas of their doctoral theses.
