Mathematical Engineering offers Ph.D. projects concerning various fields of pure and applied mathematics supervised by experts and active researches. The areas of research interests include functional analysis, operator algebras, foundations of quantum theory, algebra and category theory, theoretical computer science, probability theory, etc. An integral part of the study are courses providing deeper insight into modern mathematics and its applications to science and engineering.
The students will be exposed to important areas of modern mathematics and their applications to science and engineering. They will take part in active research lead by recognized experts. The graduates will be able to understand deep theoretical principles and apply them in natural and technical sciences. They will be well prepared for reasearch as well as teaching career in universities, research and academic institutions.
