The Bachelors programme provides a basic overview of the subject of music management (in particular music agency, the record industry, publishing practice, the fundamentals of copyright law and economics within the scope of all sectors including instruction in two world languages with the requirement of drafting a contract and conducting negotiations).
Graduates of the Bachelors programme in music management apply their skills in all sectors of society: in the public sector, in civil society and in the private sector. The goal is to equip graduates of the Bachelors programme in Music Management with a knowledge of music, its economic underpinnings and the skills to succeed in the demanding conditions of the market economy. Their professional profile enables graduates to work in music publishing as PR managers, editors, creative workers and promotion managers, producers and production workers in orchestras, and agents in production centres.

Successful completion of an entrance examination, which consists of a talent test, a theoretical test and a practical aptitude test. The entrance examination for the Bachelors programme tests basic musical prerequisites, knowledge of basic musical concepts from theory and music history, overall cultural orientation, language ability in two world languages of which English is required and the second world language is chosen by the candidate, managerial prerequisites, psychological skills and the ability to orient oneself in key economic concepts.
