Did you know that cubism in architecture was purely a Czech invention? As an example you can visit one of the most famous cubist buildings in the Czech Republic, right in the centre of Prague. You can also get a cup of great coffee or something to eat in the Grand Cafe Orient located on the first floor of the House of the Black Madonna. The café within the house closed in the 1920’s when cubism fell out of fashion but was re-opened after nearly 80 years. Today the house is used as the Czech Museum of Cubism.
