Ph.D.Regional and Social Development

The doctoral study branch Regional and Social Development is aimed at recruiting the interdisciplinary experts in Regional Development (at all general, micro-regional, regional, national and international levels). In particular the study branch emphasises the specifics of social development in rural areas. The graduates (regional analysts - experts) are able to work in teams of researchers or specialists, in managing positions of public administration at all levels. They have deep knowledge of a wide spectrum of research methods to carry out both qualitative and quantitative research correctly. They are advanced in analysis, preparation and processing the data for design, development and implementation of integrated programmes of regional and social development.
