The graduate of the doctoral programme in physics–quantum optics and optoelectronics possesses not only deep knowledge in the specialization of the thesis but also a broader theoretical and experimental experience in the whole field. Having gained experience in international cooperation, and mastered modern technologies and computing, the graduates acquire a high level of flexibility. Many of the graduates pursue careers in research, either in academia or industry. But they can take a wide variety of jobs in other fields, including banking, business and consulting.
