The goal of the study in the branch Physics of plasmas and ionized media is to educate experts with a broad fundamental knowledge in mathematics, physics and computer modeling of physical processes and with a deep understanding of a chosen direction of the plasma physics and related disciplines. The basic direction is plasma itself but the study includes closely related topics as plasma chemistry, interaction of plasmas with solid surfaces or dusty plasma. The graduate is experienced in theoretical and experimental methods of plasma physics that can be used also in other disciplines of fundamental or applied research at universities or other research institutes but its knowledge and skill create a good base for a career in industry or in managements of different companies.
