Graduate profile

This diploma holder has completed the program of combined mathematics and physics, focused on modeling in physics of solids, liquids, gasses, and plasmas. In accord with the doctoral thesis topic, he/she was devoted to continual, particle, or hybrid modeling, with emphasis either in mathematics or in physics. Continual modeling in this program is focused on the mechanics and thermodynamics of fluids or solids and on mathematical and numerical analysis and solution of the corresponding systems of partial differential equations. Particle and hybrid modeling is devoted to the study of macromolecules, thin films, surfaces, and plasmas. Alumni from this program exhibit solid knowledge of mathematics, physics, and computational methods, are flexible, and possess ability to formulate, analyze, and solve numerically real-world problems.
