This graduate is well-prepared for work either independently or as a team member in scientific, research and pedagogical fields. He/she has a broad understanding of general geographical issues, both in terms of theory and issues which integrate geographical topics with other related fields (namely the development and utilisation of landscape), as well as in the realm of teaching geography in both Czech and international contexts. The graduate is able to apply his/her knowledge of theories and concepts (e.g. the evolution of geographical thinking, geographical synthesis, forecasting of environmental changes). He/she is active in scientific research and training (conceptual, writing and reviewing, curriculum development, development of educational programmes and materials, the promotion of geographical knowledge).
