Mathematical and computational modeling in physics and technology is an interdisciplinary study programme that combines modern theories of mathematical analysis and numerical methods with fundamentals in physics. The subjects of the programme are focused on differential equations, continuum mechanics and thermodynamics. Graduates have been trained to formulate real-world problems and to develop corresponding physically relevant mathematical models, as well as to analyze such models, to propose adequate numerical schemes and to implement them followed by computer simulations.
