The study of Design and Process Engineering provides PhD students with scientific research and independent creative work in the field of research and development at the FMI, research institutions and in industry. In the field of engineering processes, he analyses mainly production needs with regard to production equipment and control technology, further to the needs of handling and transportation facilities, and finally to instruments and control equipment in engineering and non-engineering processes. He solves non-engineering processes, such as chemical, biotechnologic processes and food industries. His education based on deep knowledge and other skills will provide the PhD graduate with skill to evaluate and formulate achieved initial results deepending on the demands of research and development. His profile involves international presentation or realization of his results with regard to the protection of intellectual property.
