Msc.Mechatronics

Czech Technical University in Prague - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The study of Mechatronics is focused on training highly qualified specialists for research, development and practice of engineering disciplines. Graduates are able to creatively apply the knowledge of theoretical mechanics, elasticity theory, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Issues dominate the dynamics of systems analysis, synthesis and design of mechanisms, optimal dimensioning of machine components, determining the life of machinery and checking their reliability. They are able to solve challenging stationary and non-stationary internal and external mechanics of incompressible and compressible fluids, theory of thermal calculations of machines and equipment. Gain knowledge in interdisciplinary areas such as mechatronics, biomechanics, mathematical modeling and aerodynamics atmosphere. Master methods and means of engineering experimental research of machines and structures. Graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics engineers are strojařským field, ready to work in a mechatronic team. Apply in all fields of mechanical engineering in the design and manufacture of mechatronic products, which are often very unusual. Their qualifications will receive, in addition to traditional mechanical engineering disciplines, studying the modeling and simulation of mechatronic systems, control theory computer, electronics, microprocessors and digital signal processors, artificial intelligence, design methodologies, techniques fostering creativity, software engineering.

Graduate profile

Graduate profile is designed to prepare highly qualified specialists for research, development and practice of engineering fields when applying mechatronics synergies machines (physical systems), electronics (information processing) and intelligent computer control (complex decision-making processes). Knowledge of modeling of machines and structures and experimental research obtained during the study, together with the field of applied mechanics. The aim of art is a developer and designer who is able to apply knowledge from the fields of machine typically based on solid mechanics and systems, together with knowledge of electrical engineering which allows graduates to work both in research and in particular the development of new machinery.
