Students of the Computer Security branch will acquire knowledge of system security, encryption, encoding, applied cryptography, cryptanalysis principles, detection and prevention of attacks on computer networks, legal aspects of the use of cryptographic systems. Knowledge of cryptology will be linked with the knowledge of modern trends in hardware and software to implement the security of computer systems.
Graduates of the Computer Security branch can take positions in companies dealing with the design, implementation, and operation of ICT security solutions, creating secure SW, HW, ensuring secure operation of networks, servers, data centers, etc. They can work as security analysts, security solutions developers, administrator and consultant positions at all levels of ICT security in enterprises and companies, public authorities, or e-government.
